I am lucky enough to live on 3 beautiful wooded acres that are filled with wildlife. A few summers ago, a little white-tailed fawn spent the afternoon in the yard with me. It was one of my favorite days. He let me get so close to him that I could almost touch him. I got dozens of photographs during the experience. This is the first of what I am sure will be several paintings of him. I painted his portrait for the Bismarck Art and Galleries Associations annual Square Foot Art Show in 2017.
