This red fox was created to show how two artists have a completely different take on the same subject. My husband is a photographer and took the photo I used as a reference for this painting. In the finished piece he created he brought out the beautiful texture in both the fox and the snow in the background making a black-and-white photograph. What I saw in this fox was the striking color, and I zoomed in on the fox to create a more intimate feel.
