Theodore Roosevelt National Park is one of my favorite places to visit, having grown up mainly in western North Dakota. There is nothing that smells better than the fresh air and sage! My husband and I spent a couple of days hiking in the park in July 2018 and stumbled across this Cottontail Rabbit when hiking the Paddock Creek Trail. I got dozens of photos of him he sat on the trail with the late-day sun filtering through the grass.
