Often in wildlife art, the males of the species get all of the attention for their large antlers or bright displays. This feminine beauty caught my attention and I decided she needed to be seen. Although Pronghorns now number between 500,000 to 1,000,000, in the 1930’s their population was down to only 13,000 because of excessive hunting. The protection of habitat, along with hunting restrictions have allowed their numbers to recover.
